Description: I. CMBs approach camera to pass at speed over a boom marked by buoys - spectators watch from a barge moored in the background. II. CMB is recovered from the water by a cradle traverser (circular frame on part of this sequence). Close-up as bilge water is drained from bleeder hole at stern of boat. Medium shot pan across CMB sheds. III. Interior shot as Wren serves drinks in wardroom; close-up of Wren wearing headscarf; medium shot group of kitchen staff; Wrens skip for camera. IV. Close-up of Sub-Lieutenant G G Lucas and his dog Jack. Anonymous warrant officer holds a white dog (cf IWM 566/02). V. Title sequence. Close-ups of stern rudder and propellers of CMB (film inverted).
